Time to celebrate...

Friday is here again and the special thing about that is we can celebrate! Here's what we're cheering about this week: Be sure to stop by VikLit's blog. She initiated the "Let's Celebrate Fridays" blogs.http://viklit.blogspot.com/

  • My friend, Janice, is coming home from vacation soon! I can't wait to hear about her trip and see more pictures.
  • We had our first little snow dusting this week. I'm not a fan of cold weather, but the snow looks pretty, as long as no one needs to shovel it or plow it.
  • As you may remember, my mom always told us to be grateful for our natural talents and for everything we have. She'll be pleased that I'm happy to be able to write for children and to have such amazing blogging friends who support my efforts. D

  1. Hi, Deanie! We had a bit of snow earlier in the week. It looked pretty, but I'm not a fan of the cold that came along with it. Have a great weekend!

  2. I'm not a fan of the cold weather either, but for the last two years we've had huge snow storms on Halloween, so I'm glad we didn't have that. We lost power for a week! Yikes. Happy weekend to you as well and thank you for commenting.

  7. I can't wait until it snows here, we don't get it very often!

  8. Since you like the snow, I hope it gets there soon, Laura. Last year we had 2 huge storms. One had over 3 feet of snow! Many of us lost power for a week. That's the part I hate about snow, but it does look pretty if you can just admire it. D Wishing you a happy weekend.

  9. We had a little dusting of snow here too. I hate it, but my dog loves it! He was thrilled to death when he saw the snow on the ground LOL.

Enjoy your weekend with your friend, sounds like fun.

  10. Thanks, Julie, I"m looking forward to hearing about Janice's trip. So glad your dog had fun in the snow! Sometimes Elliott (our dog) isn't that crazy about it because his feet get cold! D Then he wants to come right inside.
    Happy weekend.

  13. Snow ... it's so gorgeous when it first comes down you can't help mooning over it a bit. Unfortunately, by the time it's the 5th or 6th storm of the season and you have to keep shoveling it off paths and thing - the romance wears off. Have a great weekend, and always be proud you're doing what you love. :-)

  14. It's true, the bloom is definitely off the rose when it's time for shoveling! I'm extremely blessed to be doing what I love. So many people aren't that fortunate. I really enjoy being a good influence on children. D
Happy weekend and thanks for visiting.
