New things are scary....

It's time to write about feeling insecure again, so I'll fit in perfectly this time. I'm not sure why, but new things always make me feel frazzled and overwhelmed. I'm trying to work on new marketing stuff and really getting a bit bogged down. I think it's much harder than writing stories! Whenever I have to tackle anything new at all, the problem grows to the height of Pike's Peak! We're definitely not dealing with any mole hills here.
Then I have a story that I'm stuck on, so that's another insecurity issue. I just haven't figured out what should happen next. But, eventually, the answers will come and all will be well. I know that giving up on any situation only assures failure. With that in mind, I will ponder on these things until we find solutions.
Wishing you all well and hoping your doubts are little ones that can be easily conquered.
*Happily, I can report that the marketing challenge has been met. I think we have a suitable solution! Hooray! Thank you to everyone who offered support and words of wisdom. D

  1. Hi, Deanie. Best wishes with your story. I also find myself frazzled and overwhelmed, at times, when presented with new things. A few deep breaths sometimes helps. : )

  5. The beginning of every new step always seems daunting for me as well. One step at a time, and yes, you will surely conquer them all. When all else fails, just flip a coin and decide which to tackle first that way lol (Yes, I guess I can get desperate from time to time haha ha)

  6. Many hugs to you, Deanie. I found myself stuck on my non-fiction book and ended up switching gears and writing my fictional piece. I've been much happier and am just about ready to work on my non-fiction work. Best of luck!!
