As you may know, on Fridays we celebrate things that happened during the week. Special thanks to VikLit, who started this blog. Please stop by VikLit.blogspot.com, to find out what others are cheering about.
Here's what we're happy about this week:
- I've been chosen to become secretary to Amb. Claire Power Murphy's Free Online School. It will be an exciting venture, although as usual, I get a bit apprehensive about new things. I will do my best.
- Two of my wonderfully gifted author friends, Sarah Mazor, and Janice Spina, have released children's books. Sarah has published The Purim Story and Janice has released, Jerry the Crabby Crayfish. They are both amazing stories and I hope you check them out on Amazon.com. You'll love them.
- Warmer weather today! The weather is much warmer today, so that's definitely cause for celebration, although the forecast is for cold again next week. At least we can take a little break from Winter, Yay!
Thank you everyone for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Thank you, M.J. Hopefully, I'll be up to the challenge. New things always frazzle me, but at least we'll try and see what develops. Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Deanie, a new adventure :)
ReplyDeleteAlso thanks so much for plugging The Purim Story.
Celebrating with you!

Thank you, Sarah. I love to help any way I can and I love that we can celebrate together.
ReplyDeleteA new challenge is good, hope it goes well for you. Weather a little better here too :)
ReplyDeleteI hope the challenge isn't too overwhelming. I'll know better after today when I submit my notes. Thanks, Suzanne, happy weekend.
DeleteCongratulations! The weather here is a little warmer too, though I'm sure it won't last. We'll be back to gale force winds and flooding in no time.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Laura. We don't expect the warmer weather to last a long time either. Rain and flooding aren't too appealing. Happy weekend.
DeleteCongratulations on the new challenge. I'm sure you will totally rock it! I hope the warmer weather sticks around. It's supposed to be sumer here, but so far we've had about 3 days that feel like it...
ReplyDeleteThank you,Kate, we just finished the meeting and I'm about to send out my notes. We will see what develops, but everyone was very nice
DeleteWhat a great new opportunity to challenge yourself, congratulations!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the warmer weather while it lasts....which I'm sure won't be too long. Winter can't be over soon enough for me hahaha. Have a great weekend!
Thanks, Katherine, I'm about to send out my notes so we'll see how things go. Have a great weekend and thanks for visiting.
DeleteI know what you mean about taking on new challenges. I bet you'll do fine. Winter won't last forever. Have fun this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sharon, I hope so. We're encouraged when we remember that Winter won't last forever. Enough is enough, I think. Thank for visiting and have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteI can understand the feeling - being apprehensive about new things. I try to remind myself that the outcome is never as bad as I imagined it would be. You'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Fanny, I think I did okay for the first time trying it, so it can only get better from here. Thank you for the encouraging words. I hope you visit my new website when you can. I write about inspiring kids there.
