This week we're celebrating...

It's Friday again so we celebrate whatever we can, big or small. Thank you to VikLit for starting this group.
Here's what we're celebrating this week:

  • My gifted author friend, Janice Spina has just published her first novel, Hunting Mariah.  As part of her blog hop, I published a blog about it on this site so be sure to stop by to find out more. If you'd like to read about it on Amazon, here's the link:

  • My husband's little  English sportscar, Margaret, has been on her best behavior lately. Would you like to know why he says t's exciting to drive her?  He says you never know whether you're going to arrive at your destination or not. That's why he carries an array of tools and spare parts wherever he goes! D
  • This week we'll celebrate each of you who is kind enough to stop by to read my blog.  Thank you and  I wish all of you a great weekend.

  2. A wise man once told me to stop naming my cars - seems I build too emotional of a tie! Wish I had the talent to fix mine when needed!
Glad to hear your friend's success - I'll have a look at your comments on it!

    1. Hi Dixie, Thanks for stopping by. So nice to meet you. We have opposite views to your friend, thinking that if we name our cars they will be dedicated to being good, since they will feel like part of the family. It's true, we can form attachments, though. Hope you have a lovely weekend.

  3. Congrats on your friend's novel. I miss my little Mazda Miata. Some old lady crushed it with her Ford 150 pick-up. Have a good week-end

  4. Isn't it wonderful when the mechanical things in your life don't give you any trouble? Here's to another week of auto love.

  5. Hi C. Lee, so nice to hear from you again. Yes, when Margaret is on her best behavior we're always ecstatic! She can be rather stubborn, but my husband knows just how to soothe her ego. D Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend.

  6. Deanie, I hope Margaret stays on her good behavior. My husband says it's much easier to tinker with older cars than new ones. And congrats to your friend, Janice.

  7. Hi Cathrina, I agree, my husband says the same thing about the cars. He doesn't like having to deal with the computerized parts and all of that. He loves Margaret and always celebrates when she's not being stubborn. D Thanks for visiting and have a nice weekend.

  8. CONGRATS to Janice! I wish her much success.

So glad to hear that your husband's sports car is running nicely. A smart man to keep tools and spare parts for just in case. I've been stranded before and it is no fun. Have a nice weekend!

  10. Congratulations to Janice!

It's always a good idea to have tools in your car. We get all of our cars used, so we never know when it might need a quick repair!

  11. Hi L. G.,
So nice to hear from you. Yes, I agree, it's always good to have your tools at the ready. It's also a really good thing that my husband can actually use them. I'm sure I wouldn't know what to do with them! D
Thanks for stopping by. Best wishes.
Janice is so excited about her book so we're celebrating together.
