It's almost Friday again so here's what we're celebrating this week! Thank you Lexa Cain for continuing this blog!
- My interview is posted today, Jan. 29th on www.theauthorsshow.com. I think it turned out okay. I'd love to know what you think about it. It'll be airing for the rest of the day and the interview will replay periodically.
- Not as much snow as we expected!
- We didn't lose power in the storm
- My author friend, Sherry Ellis, nominated me for another Very Inspiring Blogger Award. Thank you Sherry!
Have a great weekend, everyone!

How exciting! An interview! Definitely worth celebrations!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kate. The interview was fun and we've gotten some very nice comments about it. Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend.
DeleteHi Deanie. I made a v copy of your interview link and will listen later this evening. I'm glad the snow was kind and the power stayed on. That's always a plus. (smile)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the award!!
Hi Dixie,
DeleteI hope you enjoy the interview. If for some reason you have trouble and can't listen, it will be rebroadcast on Feb. 13-15.
Happy weekend and thank you for the kind words.
Being recognized for anything calls for celebration! Go you on your interview!
ReplyDeleteit is a good thing the snow storm drifted further east and so happy you kept power. Although, sitting here in Florida, I really miss the virgin snow! :P

Wish I could send some snow to you. We have family and friends in FL. We used to live there and every Winter I miss the weather there. Thank you for visiting and commenting.
DeleteGlad the interview was a success. We might get a little snow this weekend but I don't think it will be much. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteThose winter storms can be nasty. Not much snow where I live in the desert, just a dusting now and then. I mention you on my blog today. Thanks again for the award :)
ReplyDeleteMy sister lives in the desert too, Sharon and it snows now and then, but I guess it melts during the day.Thank you for mentioning me on your blog. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt took me a little while to figure out how to bring u your interview on the interview site, but I found the link with your book's name! You did a great job explaining about beautiful red Charlene, her jumping ambitions, and all her friends. I hope lots of people listen to it and buy your books. Yay for a "soft" storm and for the blogging award!
ReplyDeleteI noticed you put another link in the hop list, ChildrensbookswithLifeLessons, but you haven't posted any Celebration posts there. Unless you want to write two posts a week (1 for that site and 1 here), perhaps the link to this blog is enough. Let me know if I should remove the other one. laura.6eg@gmail.com
Have a lovely weekend!
Thank you for listening to my interview, Lexa! I tried to say something helpful about the book without giving everything away.
ReplyDeleteThe website address; www.childrensbookswithlifelessons.com is where I post things about inspirational kids and a little about my books. I do have another blog site; deaniehumphrysdunne.blogspot.com where I repost this blog though. The other address with Laura isn't mine.
Have a lovely weekend,.
Congratulations on the interview, and I'm glad you didn't lose power. Where I grew up, it wasn't unheard of to lose power for five days. No fun.
ReplyDeleteThank you L.. G. Yes, we're so happy not to have lost power. Maybe it was Murphy's Law because we were prepared. D Having no power is no fun at all. Happy weekend and thanks for the good wishes on the interview.
ReplyDeleteGlad your interview went well! Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura, you too!
ReplyDeleteAll great things to celebrate. CONGRATS on the interview and the award.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Susanne. Hope you're enjoying the weekend.
