Editing-is it ever done?

The first Wednesday of the month we post some of our insecurities so we can all encourage one another. Thank you Alex J.  Cavanaugh for starting this group. Stop by AlexjCavanaugh.blogspot.com to check out what everyone has to say.
So, this time I'll moan a little about editing. I spend hours on end checking out my books before they're published, but I still seem to miss things. Yikes! How is this possible? Anyone else feel the same, or have the same issue? I drive myself crazy looking for all sorts of little errors, but I still manage not to root out every one.
Happily, I managed to slide thorough my first author takeover during the Born to Run Book Launch hosted by Ann Hunter. Thankfully, Ann helped me till I could manage to muddle through on my own. Thank you, Ann. She was so patient!
Hope everyone is working through their own insecurities this month. Thanks for stopping by.

  1. I definitely feel that way. I think i found all the errors and then my critique partners point out more. It is not a nice feeling. Well done on your book launch. Congratulations!

  2. Thank you, Murees, I don't think I deserve any congratulations on the book launch. Ann helped a lot in the beginning, when I was about to cry.
I'm working on editing now. Sometime all the practice will show.
