Celebrate the Small Things

Friday is here again. That means we can cheer about anything we want. Be sure to stop by LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what she and her blogging partners have to celebrate. Here's what we're celebrating this week:

  • We lost electricity twice today, but now, it's back! We missed it, especially with the cold weather we're not enjoying now.
  • A little party for "Fat Tuesday. We had extra stuff to eat and dessert.
  • My author friend, Janice Spina has a new book coming out soon.
  • My son found time to do some updates on my website. He did a great job.
What are you celebrating this week?

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. #ReadAcrossAmerica Day. Today I talked with students at a nearby school about what they liked to read and shared some of my Little Miss HISTORY books with them. We learned a lot from each other.

  2. Glad you got the electricity back. Not having it is no fun. Never been to a Fat Tuesday party. Have a good weekend.

    1. We just had our own little Fat Tuesday celebration, Marilyn, to get ready for Lent. My husband is so brave. He gives up coffee for Lent every year. This year he gave up chocolate as well. Heroic, don't you think?

  3. Sorry about your electricity. It bugs the heck out of me when I lose mine, and it's not even connected to the heater! Yay for Fat Tuesday, updates on the blog, and Janice's upcoming book. Have a great weekend!

  4. Yes, it's really annoying when the electricity is out. We had a tree down from the wind and it was right across from us. We're so happy it's fixed now. Hope you have a lovely weekend.

  6. Losing electricity is never fun, especially when it's cold outside! Glad you got it back! One of these days I either need to go to a Fat Tuesday party or throw one! Very cool your son had time to update your website (and thanks for the reminder I need to *make* time to update mine...wish I had a son who could do it! LOL!) and very cool about your friends upcoming book! Lots of cool stuff to celebrate! :) Have a great weekend!

Friendly Fill-Ins While Celebrating the Small Things to make Friday Fun!

  7. Yay for the return of electricity! I really notice how much I rely on it when I've been forced to go without it for a time. And yay for parties too! Have a great week!
