New Review for Tarsie Sings his Song by Terri Tatchell

Tarsier Sings his Song” is an entertaining, informative story featuring various endangerd animals. Little Tarsier sings a song every day, but none of the other animals listen, at first. Soon, Tarsier makes new friends, including a Cuscus Bear, a Hornbill bird, and a Maraque. The bear suggests the Tarsier’s song is too sad so he offers to teach the Tarsier a new one. While they are singing the next song about the things the bear enjoys eating, other animals happily join in and sing about what they like. The book highlights the value of friendship and the differences between the species.

The illustrations are very cute and colorful. At the end of the book there is information on the animals featured in the book, but it was not possible to read the tiny print. Other than that, it’s a well-written book that I recommend.
