- I went on a short trip to meet my sister and brother in law in one of the neighboring towns. I always get nervous about those things, even with my GPS because my sense of direction is abysmal. I was so happy to arrive without any problems. But somehow I did get lost on the way home. The GPS saved me, though, because I went home a different way. I'd probably still be lost without it!
- We had a little celebration after the trip It was partly because I got home safely, adventure and all. But also for my husband's third anniversary of his hip surgery. We call it his third Hippaversary! )
- We'll see my mom, sister and brother in law tomorrow night. We're watching over our mom while Holly and her husband have a date. My husband and I will have a date night too. We'll watch movies there and have fun with mom.

I know how you feel, I'd be useless without my GPS. Hope you have a great night tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteMe, too, Laura, I always got lost without it and it's a scary feeling. I'm sure we'll have fun tonight. How are the gym sessions going? Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a GPS, but I probably should. I can get lost very easily. I have far too many stories about getting lost while driving. I could probably fill a book, lol.
ReplyDeleteI think you should get one, Susanne. They help the stress level a lot because you know you'll get where you want to go. I'm famous for getting lost, so without the GPS a short trip can be a big adventure!
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by and happy weekend.
Hippaversary, that's good! And date night too - sounds like a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteYes, we also celebrate our son's legaversary, when he was involved in an accident and broke both his legs, poor thing. He needed complex surgery, but he's fine now. When it's his legaversary, we always tell him to be extra careful. Our date night was rescheduled to next week, but we'll enjoy it then.
DeleteHave a great weekend.
Glad you found your way back, I don't have any sense of direction either! Happy hippaversary to your husband too :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Suzanne. I'm sure I'd still be wandering around if I didn't have the GPS! ) Thanks for stopping by and happy weekend.
DeleteI'm so glad you survived that driving adventure, Deanie! Look at you, living dangerously ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Hippaversary to hubby! (another favorite new word along with Legaversary)
Thank you, Katherine, I was so worried about getting lost. Thanks for the compliments on Hippaversary and Legaversary! Have a lovely weekend.
