This week we're celebrating.......

We always celebrate things on Friday, so let's see what we have to cheer about this week:
Be sure to stop by www.VikLit.blogspot.com to see what other people are cheering about!
  • For those of you who don't know, my children's autobiography, Tails of Sweetbrier, won the Silver Medal in the Feathered Quill Writer's Contest. Of course, we are honored to receive this award. it was the first contest I've ever entered.
  • We got about 10 inches of snow, but now our driveway is plowed. The snow is gone now. We're getting a little tired of it this year. Before our tricky driveway was plowed, my husband got stuck with one wheel of his Subaru over the curb. Even though we have reflectors to help see the edge, it was hard to estimate where it was because of the snow. But both my husband and the car are okay.
  • We are one week closer to Spring, even though it doesn't seem like that.
  • Sending a special thank you to all of my followers! I appreciate you.

  3. Congratulations on your award! And I hear you about the snow. It's no small thing--a rather dangerous nuisance this year.

Ugh, snow. We're expecting another snow storm this weekend, I'm over it! Hope you have a great weekend and that the snow don't come visiting you again!

  6. Thank you, Katherine, we're celebrating for sure. I know, the snow thing is getting a little monotonous . We must be setting records. Hope you have a nice weekend, too. Love you your cherubs.

  7. We haven't had any snow, all we get is rain and wind. I'd much rather have the snow, although I imagine I'd get fed up of it eventually, too.

  8. Oh, is that unusual for your weather, Laura? Our friend moved back there last year and I think she'll be disappointed without the snow I hope you get some to lift your spirits. Have a great weekend.

  15. Hi, congrats on the award. We are about to get snow, but I don't think it will be 10 inches. I hope you have a good week coming up.
