This week we're celebrating...

It's Friday again and that means we find things to celebrate. Here's what we're happy about this week:
  • Only two snow storms this week! We had one small storm this week, which is hardly worth mentioning, but now we have one with 3 stages! Yuck. Still, we're getting closer to Spring, yay!
  • At least we don't live in the areas where they never have snow and don't know how to manage it.
  • There may be an exciting opportunity coming, but I won't find out about it till after this is posted.
  • Special shout outs to DL Hammonds and Alex Cavanaugh for their blogs that so many of us enjoy(myself included, of course) We are able to help one another and encourage each other, which is so helpful to everyone. Stop by Cruisingaltitude2.0.blogspot.com and Alexcavanaugh.blogspot.com to check them out!
  • Finally, thank you to all of you who stop by my blog to check out what's happening here.
  • Happy Valentine's Day, everyone, I hope lots of romantic surprises come your way

  1. Yeah, whenever it snows here in England everything stops; we're just not equipped to handle it. I love it, but all we're getting at the minute are gale force winds and rain. Have a great weekend!

  2. Ah, I thought that England got lots of snow, but I guess not. It would be more fun for you, though. When it snows in the southern part of US, they don't know what to do because they don't have plows or sand trucks, ro anything like that. It's really scary for them.

  3. Yes as Laura says we have LOTS of heavy rain and gale force winds at the moment. Roll on spring although they tell us it may take several weeks or even months for the flood waters to subside!

    Enjoy your Valentine's Day

  4. Oh, I hope the rain stops soon, Suzanne. It sounds horrible. Maybe Spring will surprise you and come earlier than expected. Thanks for visiting and happy weekend.

  6. Me, too, Cathrina, enough with this stuff already! Yikes, I can't believe all of the snow we've had this year. I hope it's just a freak year and won't always be like this.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Valentine's Day to you, too!

  14. It's sad that only two snow storms is worth celebrating. We all need to move somewhere warming (unless the cold is your thing).

Good luck with your opportunities! I hope you hear good things about them :)

    1. Yes, people who love Winter will be on cloud nine this year. One of my sons likes it because he loves snowboarding. Thanks for the good wishes on my opportunities. We'll see what develops.
Happy weekend and thanks for visiting.

  15. LOL - I live in one of those places where they never get snow . . . on purpose. Of course we really never get snow, so we don't have to know how to handle it.

  16. I really miss the warm weather we had in FL every Winter, Rhonda, but my husband hates the heat. Nobody is happy with the weather all the time, I guess. Glad you never have to worry about the cold, lucky you.

  19. I, on the other hand, would not be able to manage living in snow. Sure glad I live where it's sunny most of the time. I'll bet there are a few people who couldn't handle our one-teen temps in the summer, but those don't seem to bother me very much at all.

  20. I really miss the warm FL weather we used to have when we lived there, M. J. My husband probably wouldn't care much for the super hot weather. He used to say we were crazy to live in FL in the summer. But, like you, I much prefer that to the ice and snow. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you're having a fun week.
