Celebrations and insecurities this month.

The first Wednesday of the month we write about our worries or we offer advice on how to conquer our fears.
This month, I have released my new children's book, Charlene the Star and Bentley Bulldog. While that is definitely something to cheer about, there are always fears attached. How will the book be received? Did I do enough editing? Should I have added anything else? Millions of questions swirl around in my brain. So far, we have gotten some good reviews so that's the first step. The only bit of advice I would offer is to try to be ready for all kinds of reactions. No matter who you are, or what you do, not everyone is going to approve. That's a bit of advice that my parents always offered. It would usually come after some disappointment or other that seemed monumental at the time.
In summary, I would say we should all celebrate our achievements and remember that everyone will have different views. Regardless, remember that you have worked very hard to present your best work so if your goal was to be a published author, you have met it. Never give up on your dreams because I know that all things are possible if you persevere.
