Celebrate the Small Things....

Well, Friday is here again so we get to cheer about all kinds of things. Please be sure to stop by LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what she and everyone else is happy about. Here's what we're cheering about this week...

  • Rostig, our old Mercedes, took his first trip around the block! My husband is enjoying rehabbing Rostig. He likes having a "Project car."
  • My sister and brother in-law have been vacationing out of the country. They're coming home today! Really looking forward to that.
  • Much warmer weather this week
  • One of our childhood friends connected again, via Facebook. It was so exciting to hear from her.
  • If any of you haven't voted for my essay yet and would like to, here's the link:

  2. Facebook gets a raw deal and sometimes with good cause, but when it reconnects us to lost friends, it's a valuable resource. :)

    1. HI Diana,
Thank you so much for visiting and commenting. Rostig is keeping my husband happy. He loves having a project car. Rostig is the German word for Rusty. :)
Happy weekend to you as well.

  6. Yes, it was nice to chat with my friend. Rostig does seem to be settling in. I think he'll stay unless something pops up that's too expensive to fix.
Thank you for voting and have a great weekend, Lexa!

  8. We're warming up to Rostig and I think unless he needs expensive care (our version of intensive care) he'll stay. It might be too early to make a final decision, so we're keeping an open mind. :) Yes, it's lots of fun connecting with old friends. We wish the weather would stay warm. Happy weekend!
