Celebrate the Small Things...

It's Friday again so we all think of things to celebrate. Be sure to stop by LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what's happening with everyone there.
Here's what we're celebrating this week...

  • We're offering a free sample download of my book, Tails of Sweetbrier. If you'd like one, just click on this link:

  • A better week than last week.
  • Carl, our Subaru, was feeling poorly for one day, but he recovered! We have no idea what he did!
  • Our big weed whacker, Husky, is fixed now and we didn't have to take out a loan to pay for him to cme home.
  • Have a great weekend everyone and thanks for stopping by.

  2. Nice to hear you had a better week than last week. And thanks for the offer of the free sample of the book. I think that's such a good idea. Samples are a great way of giving potential readers a free taste.

  4. You make me giggle! I know many people name their cars, but I've never known people who name their weed-whackers! I hope you get lots of downloads of your book, and that it leads to sales of your other books, and I wish you a lovely weekend! :)

  5. If I make you giggle, it's a good thing, Lexa. We figure even our weed-wacker needs to feel important so he doesn't have a tantrum and stop working! Think how his self-esteem must be! :)
Thanks for the good wishes on my free sample download. Hope you have a great weekend too with cooler air. :)

  8. Geez, I thought I was the only person who named her car. Only had 3--a Brad, a Frank, and now the Miata is Tom(after that Hardy boy). Good luck with all the stuff now working.

  10. Smiling that you call your car Carl. We have a Subaru too (and a neighbor named Carl!). Always feels good when things are fixed.

    1. Hi Sharon. Thanks for commenting. Yes, our Carl was named for the aircraft carrier our son was on, The USS Carl Vinson. Maybe my favorite name for our cars was our minivan named Vincent Van Go! :)
