How was your week? Hope you had lots to celebrate. Be sure to check out LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what everyone has to say this week.
Here's what we have going on this week:
- Happy to have survived my first TV interview. Really not sure I'm meant for TV interviews. But I did my best so that's important. The whole morning was stressful. We got lost when the GPS stopped working and it made us late for the interview. For those of you who want to see the interview, here's the link:

- I thought they wouldn't talk to me because of it,but they were very nice.
- We had a big storm last night with thunder and lightening. We only lost power for about 5 minutes. Schools were closed today because of either downed trees or power issues.
Wishing you a lovely weekend, everyone.

Congratulations on surviving the TV interview! I'll hunt for that link. And having survived a terrible storm in 2011 that essentially disabled my entire state, I am very glad your storm amounted to little.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Thanks, Diana. We had more power outages yesterday, but they were short ones. If you haven't found the link to my interview here it is:

I'm sure you did well. I hope you had fun. Please be safe.
ReplyDeleteThanks Murees. Are you feeling better? I hope so.
DeleteThinking of you and thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the weekend.
I'm so sorry you had problems with getting to the TV interview - and I'm sure you were nervous enough to begin with. Plain old bad luck, but at least they were nice about it. I'm glad you only lost power for five minutes. We don't have storms around here, but construction cuts off electricity for 4-5 hours every few months. We have a good supply of candles ready to go! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHi Lexa,
DeleteIt must be hard to lose electricity when it's hot especially. We always have candles and flashlights, but we don't have problems like that too often.
Thanks for the good wishes on the interview. If you want the link I can send it, even though I thought there was lots of room for improvement.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Well done on getting a TV interview - a big deal I'm sure and whatever your reservations I am sure you came over well :) Special Teaching at Pempi’s Palace
ReplyDeleteI thought you did a great job with the interview! You sounded natural and didn't seem nervous at all. Bravo! Glad to hear you didn't have too many problems from the storm. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Lori. Now the interview is on YouTube and I'm not sure where to put it, but I guess we'll sort it out.
