Charlie is a young horse with a big dream. But there are obstacles blocking his path to success. What does Charlie do? He asks a famous retired racehorse for advice. Charlie asks General Quick what he should do if he isn't in the mood for racing. The elder horse gave Charlie some helpful counsel. After that, Charlie wondered if he should give General Quick a professor's hat like the ones he's seen in pictures. Charlie told the General he'd seen funny-looking hats and General Quick said they were called "Mortar boards."
"Why would someone want to wear a board on their head?" Charlie asked.
