This week we're celebrating...

It's time to celebrate again. As always, we're all grateful to Lexa Cain for continuing this happy blog where we can celebrate all kinds of things. Here's what we're cheering about this week:

• Our son arrived home safely from his vacation in the mid west. He and his friends had fun camping and they visited with my sister and brother in law.
• My blogging friend, Eva Solar, nominated me for the lovely " Encouraging Thunder" Award. Thank  you so much, Eva for choosing me. Eva does a great job blogging and reviewing books. You should stop by to say hello: One of her blogs is: http://lilicasplace.com/

• Our lawn mower is coming back from repairs this weekend! We missed Harrison John Deere.

Tails of Sweetbrier wins honorable mention in the Purple Dragonfly Book Awards!

 I'm excited to announce my children's autobiography has won Honorable Mention in the Purple Dragonfly Book Awards Young Adult Non-Fiction category. Naturally, I'm honored that my book has received this recognition.
