- I wrote a little blog about my dad this week. He passed away in 1996 and we still miss him.
- My husband's little car, Margaret, went to the repair shop for exhaust system work. She behaved very well during the trip.
- My author friend, Janice Spina, sent me new pictures of her precious grandson, Sebastian. He's even smiling in one of them!
- A perfect stranger showed me a random act of kindness this week when I was at the post office. She was an example that there are many unsung heroes in the world. I'm hoping to return the favor for her soon.

Special thank you to everyone for stopping by and happy weekend to all of you!
I love hearing about random acts of kindness, they remind me that people are inherently good :)
ReplyDeleteMe, too, Laura. It was truly a special gesture that she made.
DeleteRandom acts of kindness are so heartwarming. Enjoy your weekend Deanie.
ReplyDeleteThat's true, Susanne. It's the second time that something totally unexpected and especially kind happened to me, or to us, as a family.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy hearing random acts of kindness stories. You have some great reasons to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteThank you Susanne. I was totally stunned by the young lady's actions, and happy to have the other things to cheer about as well.
ReplyDeleteRandom acts of kindness are the best of reasons to celebrate :)
ReplyDeleteAh, Margaret. I do hope she is better! And seeing baby Sebastian's picture, with a smile no less, is indeed precious :D
Happy weekend, Deanie!
Margaret is feeling well. She wasn't sick, but she had her exhaust system modified.
DeleteSebastian is so cute and he already has lots of hair. Our boys were bald for the longest time! D
Wonderful celebrations. I love that you named your car!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tyrean. We name all of our cars. Margaret is a little English sports car, named for our English friend. I'm working on a story about the little car. D
DeleteThanks for stopping by and happy weekend.
Glad to hear you were a recipient of a random act of kindness. I bet it made your day!
ReplyDeleteIt really did, Sherry. I was so surprised by it.
DeleteHave a lovely weekend.
"Margaret"! Ha! It sounds like a 60s Mini-Cooper. I'm glad she behaved well though. That random-act-of-kindness sounded lovely. We all need to do and receive more of those. Have a lovely weekend. :-)
ReplyDeleteMargaret is very cute. Next week I'll put her picture here. We don't have a picture that's actually her, but I found one on line that looks exactly like her.
ReplyDeleteThe random act was very sweet. Wishing you a lovely weekend, too.
Margaret---a good name for a car. We name all our cars too! My new car is called Black Betty. We also had the blue bonnet, the hondo, and the silver bullet. Hahahaaa...
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a good weekend, Deanie.
Thank you, Cathrina. It seems to fit and our friend was very excited when she learned we named our car in her honor. I like the names of your cars. They're very cute. We figured if our cars had names, they'd be well behaved and devoted to us. )
ReplyDeleteYou never forget those who've died. Thankfully it gets easier to deal with as time goes on. Random acts of kindness are the best.
ReplyDeleteBoth of your comments are so true, Nana. We hold those who have passed away in our hearts forever and random acts of kindness are so appreciated.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to be the recipient of a random act of kindness. There are good souls in the world.
ReplyDeleteThat's true, VikLit. Hope you're enjoying a lovely weekend.
DeleteI agree with the others, it's always uplifting to read about a random act of kindness. Hope you're having a good week so far and have more small things to celebrate this week. :)
