This week we're celebrating...

As you may know, VikLit was kind enough to start this lovely group so that people could share what they're celebrating each week. Be sure to stop by her blog: VikLit.blogspot.com to see what other people are cheering about. This week we're celebrating:
  • Our mower, Harrison John Deere, went to work for the first time.  He did a fine job with the grass and needed a little help when it came to stopping, but my husband is working on that little issue. We also were the first in our neighborhood to cut the grass! That's probably historic.
  • My husband misplaced his cell phone, but he found it this morning. He really missed it.
  • The flowers are beginning to bloom but it's not that warm yet. They may be feeling chilly.
  • I made my first submission to the critique group ( a minor miracle in itself that I figured it out with only one mistake). The lady who was the first to read it had nice things to say and only minor corrections, so I'm feeling a little more comfortable with the story.
  • Our son, Brendan, took a business trip to Austin, TX and had fun. He's home safely, so we are grateful.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have great things to celebrate.

  1. It's beginning to get warm here, but now we're forecast a week of rain. Have a great weekend! :)

    1. You, too, Laura, I hope the forecasters were wrong. The ones we have are often wrong about the weather and people complain, even when they're right because they don't care for the weather. I hope warm and sunny weather is headed your way. Happy weekend.

  2. It is good that you got back a helpful critique. It is always good when one can make progress with one's writing.
