Celebrate the Small Things..

It's almost Friday again so we can celebrate whatever we want, thanks to Lexa Cain, who continued this blog. Be sure to stop by LexaCain.blogspot.com to check out what everyone has to say.
Here's what we're celebrating this week:

  • A Skype chat with Mom: She was very cheerful, so we're glad about that.
  • Our son's adorable little dog, Georgie, gets his stitches out today: Georgie cut his foot and I"ll bet he'll be really happy not to be zooming around on 3 legs!
  • My friend Rhonda's Dad was in the hospital, but he's home and feeling better.
  • Our friend and fellow blogger, Eva Solar, has been through a big ordeal. We're all happy to hear she's feeling well enough to blog again!
What are you celebrating this week? Hope it's some of your favorite things.

  1. Aww, I'm glad Georgie will be able to run normally again. And I imagine since he had stitches he also had to wear the dreaded cone so I bet he will be thrilled to see the last of that thing.
Glad to hear your mom is doing well. Happy weekend!

    1. Thank you, Julie. I'm sure Georgie is happy to get rid of the cone. He had to wear it when Shane wasn't with him. You're right, no doubt he didn't care much for it.) He's so cute. If you send me your email, I show you his picture.
Happy weekend and thanks for visiting. :)

  2. What a great list! I just came from Eva's blog. How she was treated at the hospital makes me so mad! Thank heaven she's home and recovering, and that you and your family (and Georgie) are doing well. Have a lovely weekend!

  4. It's great that your friends and family (both human and furry) are doing well this week. I read about poor Eva's ordeal. As you said, it's inexcusable. I wish doctors had to go through the same things they put their patients through. It might make them a little more careful.

  5. Me too, Lori. Some doctors really should get different careers. They ruin everything for the good ones.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the weekend.

  7. The editing stuff is so frazzling. I saw your comment, Lori, but it seems it disappeared so I'm answering it here. Yes, the put it in and take it out syndrome really is annoying. I hate that part. But it's good we have our intuitions to help us out. :)
