Celebrate the small things..

Yay, it's Friday again so we can celebrate whatever we like. Thank you to Lexa Cain for continuing this blog. It's fun to check out what everyone has to say on Fridays. Be sure to stop by to see what's happening with everyone.

Here's what we're celebrating this week:

  • Warmer weather and less rain
  • Excellent grades from our son who's in college
  • My husband was cleared by the doctor to go back to work after his fall. But he will still take about 2 months to be completely healed.
  • Hoping for a Skype chat with my Mom this weekend.
  • My husband got his little MG car, Margaret ready to drive again. In fact, she's out for a ride right now.
What are you celebrating this week?

  1. How cute that your husband's car is named Margaret. :D
I hope his recovery from the fall will continue to go smoothly.
    Happy weekend!

  2. Thank you Julie. Margaret is named for our British friend. I'll email you her picture. Happy weekend to you as well. D

  3. It's getting a lot warmer here too, which is great! Still a lot of rain, though - can't escape it here!

  4. So glad you're getting some nice warmer, weather, Laura. Have a great weekend.

  5. Well done to your son on his grades. Glad to hear your husband is improving and that Margaret is out and about. Happy weekend, Deanie.

  6. Thank you Suzanne. Our son worked very hard in school. Margaret seems quite proud to be out and about in the sunny weather. She's pretty sheltered, since she hardly ever goes out in the rain. Hope you have a great weekend.

  7. I'm so glad to hear your husband's recovery is going well. And yay for your son's good grades! Have a lovely chat with your mom and have a good weekend!

    1. thank you Lexa. We are very proud of our son for his grades and his hard work. Have a lovely weekend too.

  8. Great news on your son's grades - it's always pleasing when they are doing well - you feel you can relax a little :) Can just imagine your husband driving Margaret out in the sunshine - a bit like a 1950s film!
