Another Friday is almost here so it's time to celebrate whatever we want. Be sure to hop over to LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what everyone is cheering about. Here's what we're celebrating this week:
- We've had horrible colds this week, but they're finally packing up and leaving.
- Groundhog Day: once we reach this part of the winter, I pretend spring is almost here. If the groundhog says an early spring, he's my hero. If not, I pretend he doesn't know anything. :) This year, 2 of the little fellows are having a dispute. One says early spring and the other says 6 more weeks of winter. They may have to go to arbitration. But, I just found out the CT groundhog, Chuckles, predicts an early spring. Way to go, Chuckles!
- My sister and brother-in-law's new company is now open. It's called GoSparen. If any of you need rides to LGA, EWR, or JFK airports, check out www.GoSparen.com. Their limos will pick you up at home and take you to the airport or vice-versa. It's much less expensive because they pool with other riders so you have no hassle and less traffic, too. You'll save about 40% off regular fares.
What are you celebrating this week?

Good you're feeling better. I just found out about Chuckles, too. Wonder how many more are out there?

Thank you Marilyn. Yes, Chuckles is so cute and I read she's an orphan so she's given special care, not being in the wild because of an injury.
DeleteHave a great week.
Glad you are feeling better. I am looking forward to spring too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Suzanne We'll both be smiling when spring arrives. Have a great week.
DeleteI've been hearing how everybody is sick. I'm so happy that you're on the mend!!! Have a great weekend, Deanie.
ReplyDeleteI"m glad you're not one of the crew, Cathrina. At least we're blessed to seldom be under the weather. This time our colds were very stubborn, but we'll still prevail.
DeleteI'm glad to hear your colds are better, and your family's GoSparen sounds like a great business venture. I wish them much success! Yay for Chuckles and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Lexa. Chuckles is my new hero. We wish spring would hurry up, but the winter really hasn't been horrible so far. :)
DeleteHope you have a great week too.
Sorry you've had a cold but glad you are feeling better now. And I love the name Chuckles for a groundhog. When I was a kid we had a cat named Chuckles. :)
ReplyDeleteAW, I'll bet your Chuckles was adorable, Julie. Yes, we're glad the bad cold is finally relocating. My husband got it first. Poor thing went to work with it, but we're celebrating it's leaving now. :) Regards to you and Baby Moo.
