Celebrate the small things

Hi everyone,
Another Friday is almost here. That means we can celebrate whatever we want. Be sure to stop by LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what everyone is happy about.
Here's what we're celebrating this week:

Wilbur got some compliments so he wanted everyone to see how cute he is. What do you think?
  • My sister and brother-in-law returned safely from their vacation. They had a great time and met some nice people.
  • One of our sons made the Dean's List. We're so proud of him.
  • I'm still waiting for the print copy of my new children's book, but some of you who have been kind enough to offer to review it have given it lovely comments. We're expecting it this week.
  • We have 3 great endorsements of the new book for the back cover.  Big thank you to the people who wrote them.
  • Wilbur, our little lawn tractor woke up after his long winter's nap and worked hard to mow the grass last weekend for the first time this year. We love Wilbur.
  • We had a freak accident last week and one of my teeth got broken, but our dentist fixed it up better than new.
  • A visit and pizza party with our younger son.
Thank you to all of you who stop by. You're the best.
What are you celebrating this week? Wishing you a great week.

  2. Congrats to your son, that's great news! I really need to get my lawnmower out, but I hate mowing the grass. Have a great weekend.

  3. Wilbur sounds wonderful and good to hear he was up to working after his winter hibernation :) Great news on your son making the Dean's List - well done him! Slightly worried to hear you broke a tooth - what were you doing?? But glad it's all fixed up well - now stay safe!

    1. Hi, Thanks for stopping by. Wilbur is adorable and such a good boy to wake up right away. Also, thank you for the congrats for our son. My tooth broke from a really freak accident. Since my husband and I are handicapped, we have canes. He tossed his into the car and it hit my tooth. Yikes.
      But all is well now.

  4. Lots of great things to celebrate this week, Deanie. The grass seems to grow so fast this time of year, glad Wilbur is up and running well.

  5. Yes, it does. We've had lots of rain to help the grass out. Thank you for visiting, Suzanne. Hope you're enjoying the weekend.
