Celebrate the small things

Hi everyone,
It's almost Friday so that means we can celebrate anything that happened during the week. How was your week? Hope you had lots to cheer about. Be sure to stop by LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what everyone is happy about.

  • I'm trying to learn how to format my own books. Now I know why people charge for it.:) It's been pretty frazzling, but I only have 2 more issues to figure out. We can celebrate at least I'm trying.
  •  I caught paid off one of my bills completely.
  • Chats with my sister. We always have fun and manage to laugh, even when things seem overwhelming.

  1. Kudos to you for taking on the formatting. I am totally intimidated by that!
And congrats on paying off one of the bills, too. I know what a great feeling that is. :)

  3. I've wondered about the formatting process because I was thinking about self-publishing. But I do hear its frazzling like you said. Wishing you luck!!!

    1. It might be mostly me, Catrina. I always have trouble with this sort of thing, but sometimes paying for it seems like the best idea I've had lately :) Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend.

  4. I hate formatting. Since I'm on an Apple, it makes it even more challenging, so I bought a PC laptop and went through the all the steps using that little beast. In the end, I swore I'd never do it again. I've become a firm believer in hiring out things I hate doing. Hope you succeed! Here's my best wishes that you do.

    1. Thank you, C. Lee. I think my son might be able to help with the two last issues. He's an absolute genius with those things, but he's so busy between school and work it's hard for him to have time for helping. I appreciate your best wishes on this venture. :)

    1. I'll do that, Lexa. We might have a local holiday if I figure it out on my own. I'm only working on the ebook and that's making me frantic. :)

  8. Thanks, Suzanne, I'm not at all sure I'll succeed with the formatting, but we'll see. Yes, it is great to catch up with our family. My sister has been super busy lately so we don't always have a chance to chat.
