What National Holidays are celebrated today?

Good morning everyone, I hope you're enjoying the weekend. Today we'll talk about some holidays that are celebrated today . I hope you enjoy reading the post and learn new things.

National Hairdresser's Mental Health Day:

Have you ever considered how friendly and helpful your hairdresser is?  He or she  often listens to  your problems and may even offer advice. Plus, you feel so much better once your hair is styled or cut. You're ready to take on the world with your new look. Did you know we started celebrating National Hairdresser's Awareness Day in 2021?

National Aaron Day:

Today is the big day if  your name is Aaron. You can celebrate how special you are, even if you're not as famous as Aaron Judge!  The name Aaron has Hebrew roots and means "Mountain of Strength." Parents who choose the name Aaron imagine their son will be a strong, steadfast person. It's easy to pronounce and has been one of the most popular boy's names for years.

Scotch Tape:

Where would we be without cellophane tape, often called Scotch tape? We wouldn't be able to wrap packages, do homework, put up charts, or several other tasks without it. Richard Drew had the idea of inventing cellophane tape in 1920 when he was working at 3M.  He began marketing it in 1925 and it's been called Scotch Tape since 1930.

National Asher Day:

The name Asher is of Hebrew origin. It is unique, but it isn't new. The name Asher has been circlating for centuries. The name was given to one of  Moses' 12 sons!  The original Hebarew name for Asher iw "Osher"  No wonder the name is popular. It means "happiness,"

As a special note, I'd like to add that it's Tourette's Syndrome Awareness month.  You'll find a post about my friend, Jo Fashank. She is a talented artist with Dementia and Tourette's Sydnrome.

I hope you had fun learning these facts about some of today's holidays.
