The Dragon's Loyalty Award- And the Nominees Are....

Ladies and Gentlemen, once again I have the tremendous honor of being nominated for the Dragon's Loyalty Award by the extremely talented author, Melissa Janda! Thank you, Melissa! I'm so excited to be chosen as a nominee for another award. It's an unbelievable honor, which I cherish, more than I can say.

Seven more things about me:
I hope this isn't making you bleary-eyed already. My apologies if it is.

1. My mom nearly named me Heather, but someone thought she said " Feather," so that plan ended abruptly.
2. I love horse racing. I can't remember ever missing one of the major races on TV. This year, one of my co-favorites won the Kentucky Derby! My sister, Holly, has picked the winner for the previous two Kentucky Derby races.
3. I'm a devoted baseball fan, especially the Yankees. My grandma was also a huge baseball fan, so I might have inherited it from her.
4. Our riding school, Sweetbrier, was named for the rare Sweetbrier Roses. When the house was first built (1893) people came from far and near to admire the flowers.
5. I was really shy in school. But the positive side was that I won an award for being the quietest on Ash Wednesday.
6. I didn't start walking until I was almost 4 years old, but I spoke in full sentences at less than one year. My mom said my first words were: " I want that!"
7. When I was a little girl, I talked to my ponies and thought they understood everything. I used to bribe my first pony with sugar cubes, but he did what he wanted, regardless.
